Hannah & Jordan’s Engagement Session

Hannah & Jordan

Hannah & Jordan

After a little bit of planning and orchestrating, the time came to shoot Hannah & Jordan’s engagement photos.  We were able to get into Great American Ball Park to take them.  We were virtually all alone, and it was sort of eerie.   Such a HUGE stadium, with no one in the stands except us.  But it made for some great photos!

They are getting married this October, and are having a Cleveland Indians vs Cincinnati Reds themed reception.  Baseball, especially the Reds’ stadium, is very special to them.  It was actually the location of their first date which made it all the more special to shoot their engagement photos in.

After we were done at the stadium, we walked to Orange Leaf.  It’s a frozen yogurt place where you get to choose your flavors and all of your toppings.  It has now become a staple food group in the Harris household.  Tammi LOVES it.  We had it the very same evening we shot Hannah & Jordan’s engagement session.  The yogurt made for some cute photos which is what we were going for!

After we finished shooting everything, Hannah & Jordan asked us to go to lunch with them.  Of course we said yes!  We love getting to know our brides and grooms, and we especially loved getting to know these two!  We learned how they met,  and we got to see how great a pair these two are together.

Congratulations Hannah & Jordan!  We look forward to seeing you both very soon!

Happy Birthday Hudson!!!

Baby Hudson

Baby Hudson

Today, January 24th, 2012 we welcomed into our family, our new baby nephew, Hudson Scott – the first grandchild on Rudy’s side.  It was a scheduled C-Section, so we knew about what time he should arrive.  It was scheduled for 10:30am, but we didn’t find out size or gender until around 1:30pm!  3 hours full of anticipation for all the families members waiting with us.  Not only just simply to know, but because there was a wager going on the size.  Rudy won with the guess of 10 pounds and 2 ounces….He was still pretty far off as “Little” baby Hudson weighed in at 11 pounds!!!  The doctor told us, “Definitely made the right decision for a c-section.”

He was welcomed by SEVERAL arms waiting to hold him as we were all in love with him as soon as we saw him.  Our arms are a little tired – given his size – but well worth it.  We are very excited to be “Aunt Tammi” and “Uncle Bubbie” and can’t wait to play with him.  Congratulations to Sam & Eric!  And we will be back to see him tomorrow!

Oh…and PS – expect LOTS of pictures of Hudson. :)

Our First Christmas Tree

Setting up our very first Christmas Tree

Setting up our very first Christmas Tree

Well the time for our very first Christmas Tree together came!  Although we had some small debates on the color of lights we should use, we used simple white small lights.  After a few hours of fluffing, primping, decorating, and laughs, our tree was finished and looked pretty cute!  Especially for our first tree.  But we wouldn’t be the people we are without shooting some sort of photo about it right?  Well how about 4617 pictures?!?!?

With just a tripod, a computer and a camera we created a three minute time lapse of the tree going up.  It makes us happy every time we watch it. :)

Here it is for you to enjoy!  And Merry Christmas everyone!
