Cincinnati Wedding Photography | Morgan & Jordan {6.6.15}

_88B4975.jpg

Besides a very small hiccup in the beginning of Morgan & Jordan’s day, it couldn’t have been better. The weather, the couple, the venues, the families, just EVERYTHING was awesome and perfect all day long. We met up with Morgan, who we have learned is a shy soul and doesn’t like to be the center of attention much, and her girls for some getting ready photos. Jordan and the boys were in the same hotel just hanging out until the bus from Xtreme Limo arrived. After the small hiccup happened, we formulated a new plan for their wedding day on the fly. We have had to do this before and will likely do it again. It’s just part of wedding photography; thinking on your feet and going with the flow.

Once the bus arrived, although it wasn’t the original plan, we headed off with everyone to Riverside Drive in Covington. Morgan & Jordan opted to not see each other before the wedding, but being as Jordan was with us in our car and Morgan was in the party bus, we had to do a little logistical work in order for them not to see each other. But everyone handled the situation like champs. Jordan didn’t see Morgan so all was well. The actual picture process was a breeze. Although it was a busy day at Riverside, Morgan & her girls looked fantastic and were obviously the best looking group down there. 😉 They made the photo process super easy and fun! After some beautiful shots of just Morgan, it was time for the boys to get out the bus without Jordan seeing Morgan and for her to get in to the bus. Once the boys photos were finished, we headed to the church for the nuptials.

The ceremony at Faith Church in Park Hills, KY was simple and beautiful. It was officiated by their Uncle which was a nice touch. We love when family is included heavily during a wedding day, and they did just that. After the ceremony and their bubble exit, we headed off for the remaining photos within Devou Park. After a photo or two of the bridal party, it was time for just pictures of Morgan & Jordan. The lighting at this time of the day was beautiful. Finally they had a moment to relax and just be with each other, which is always a fun part to see during a wedding day. Weddings can be so hectic that often times our couples don’t get to actually realize they are married until days later. The private session between just us and them gives them an opportunity to breath and just be with one another away from everyone else.

Their reception held at The Gardens in Park Hills, KY was quite the dance party. We weren’t sure if their family and friends were going to be the dancing type, but we would have never have guessed just how into dancing they were. One of the groomsmen, nicknamed Nay-Nay by Rudy from a dance move he was doing earlier in the day, was quite ferocious on the floor. Yes, ferocious! It was hilarious and quite entertaining to watch Nay-Nay and the rest of the group including Morgan & Jordan dancing and just having a blast.

It was a day that even with a small glitch turned out to be amazing! Congratulations Morgan & Jordan!

Lake Lyndsay Wedding Pictures | Ashley & Nick {5.30.15}

Lake Lyndsey Wedding

Infectious smiles. Those two words perfectly describe both Ashley & Nick. When they smile they smile with their whole face and you just can’t help but smile right back at them. These two, who we learned met the same year we were married (which makes us feel very old for some reason), make a great couple together. Both passionate Ohio State fans (Nick more than Ashley we think) and both just as passionate about each other and their now marriage.

We met up with both of them as they prepared for the day with their friends at Lake Lyndsay. Everyone was in good spirits for sure and were ready to get the show on the road. We drove with Ashley & Nick separately for their first look location. Once we got them into position, we told Ashley to approach Nick and what happened after was nothing short of beautiful. They both burst into tears and just kept on looking at each other and hugging one another.

After photos of these two together and with their bridal party, it was ceremony time. The rain was approaching quickly. But we went ahead with the outdoor ceremony. It seemed like it would be fine, and luckily not a drop a rain fell during the ceremony. A few rolls of thunder, but no rain! The light was perfect during the ceremony which was great for us. But the dark clouds were definitely a cause for concern for everyone else. Ashley & Nick were so cute to watch during the ceremony. Tearing up from time to time, laughing hysterically at their vows, and finally a cute first kiss and exit through bubbles. It was perfect! Then the rain came and caused a little bit of chaos getting everyone inside, but it seems everyone made it in safely without getting drenched!

The reception was a huge hit! Our favorite part most was the best man’s, Nick’s brother, speech. He had the DJ play an internal monologue of sorts over the PA system while he mimed out what was happening. It was hilarious and definitely pretty original. We see a lot of the same themes and gimmicks during the toasts, but never had we seen that!

Before too long it was time to say goodbye. We made sure that Ashley & Nick were all good, happy, and of course gave them a hug. They asked if we would shoot their first babies pictures too. :) We said we don’t really do that anymore, but we may just make an exception for them. If nothing else, wanna go grab some dinner friends? :) Congrats you two!

The Marquise in Wilder, KY Wedding | Rachael & Ryan {5.23.15}

Cathedral Basilica Wedding Covington, KY

This past weekend was one of our most busy and one of our most favorites ever. On Friday, we celebrated with Laura Beth & Tim and it was just wonderful. So needless to say, Rachael & Ryan had some big shoes to fill and quite the high standard to live up to. They lived up to it for sure!

We first met up with Rachael & Ryan at their home on the west side of Cincinnati. There we found a slew of bridesmaids and of course the beautiful bride! Everyone was all smiles and were eager to help us however they could. After shooting some details of Rachael’s dress and accessories, it was time to have her get into her dress with the help of her mother and two sisters. Can we just pause for a moment and say how attractive Rachael’s whole family is? We told her later in the day that other families probably hate them because of this, but then hate themselves a little bit once they learn how friendly and sweet the family is. Anyways, back to the dress. This dress was perfect for Rachael. It fit her so beautifully and was an instant favorite of Tammi. (Psst! Tammi has a lot of favorite dresses.) After a few photos of these four once Rachael was ready, it was time for a first look with dad.

We got the scene ready, had Rachael’s father enter the room, and the tears started flowing. It was so sweet! You could just feel the love in the room and it was just so special. But quickly it was time to leave for the ceremony at St. Lawrence Church in Price Hill.

Their ceremony was traditional and sweet. It started with a few songs sung by Rachael’s parents and got better from there. But before too long, they kissed, they were pronounced, and they were married! It’s amazing how in one moment you aren’t married, and then the next second you are. Strange feeling we totally understand. We always ask our couples if it feels any different and they typically say no. For us, and most we presume, it takes a little bit before you realize that you are married. By a “little bit” we mean like a month more. :)

After some pictures in the church of which we only had a small window to accomplish, we bolted off for Riverside Drive in Covington, KY for the rest of the photos. We approached Riverside with some caution. We told them, it could be packed during memorial day weekend with bridal parties, but we would make it work. We arrived to find we were the ONLY bridal party there. That’s when the clouds opened and the heavens shined down. Okay, seriously though, this location is always a hot spot so to have the entire area to ourselves was a miracle.

We had Rachael & Ryan and their decently large bridal party follow us around here and there for all of the photos. The light was very beautiful that day, only surpassed by the bridal party’s beauty. 😉 Shameless compliment but they really were a good looking group! And nice to boot! After some bridal party photos, we sent them away to the party provided by Xtreme Limo, and concentrated on taking photos of just the newlyweds. We took a second before we started to give them a minute to relax and just chat for a second. Their whole day went right on schedule, in fact, it was typically ahead of schedule. Something that rarely ever happens!

After lots of cute pictures of these two, it was time to head to their afternoon break at the Hofbrauhaus in Newport, Ky for a pint of beer or two. We took a minute to grab some water and a couple pretzels with beir cheese (yum), and continued to snap away a few photos of the bridal party hanging out and sharing a pint. This was such a chill day it was unbelievable. We headed to The Marquise a few minutes before the bridal party in order to shoot some of the details before their guests arrived. Call them eager, but a lot of guests were already there! So we quickly snapped a few photos before the tables were destroyed with cups, purses, and the like.

The reception was nothing short of a party. We have only been to this venue a few times, and somehow each time it has always been a party! They have all also been Catholic weddings too. Hmmm….Maybe Catholics like to party? We don’t know that fact for sure but we do know that the Rogers, Rachael’s family, LOVES to dance and party. After the father daughter dance, which ended with a choreographed dance to Bruno Mars’ song “Uptown Funk”, the dance floor was opened and was NEVER empty. NEVER! The floor even got so full that it started to spill out throughout the room. It was quite the sight.

We left after hugging the newlyweds and headed to Dairy Queen. :) IT WAS RIGHT NEXT TO THE VENUE! Don’t judge us. 😉 Congratulations Rachael & Ryan! We can’t wait to see what your future holds.

Cathedral Basilica Wedding Covington, KY | Laura Beth & Tim {5.22.15}

Cathedral Basilica Wedding Covington, KY

Whenever we don’t get the chance to meet the groom before the engagement session or worse, the wedding, we tend to get a little nervous. Having already met Laura Beth, we already knew that we were head over heels for her classic elegance, composure, humor, and overall kind hearted spirit. But Tim could have been a total jerk. :) COULD HAVE being the key words in that phrase. Tim was nothing of the sort. He was just as awesome and delightful as Laura Beth. He is a two handed shaker. You know? Like when you meet someone for the first time and they use their left hand to created a sandwich out of your hand. It makes you feel so secure and loved. :) Be warned readers, there will be an excessive amount of smiley faces in this post, because we just love these two so much.

We had a last minute mini engagement session with Laura Beth & Tim in Ault Park just a few days before their wedding. It’s always desirable to have an engagement session with our couples because we get to have a better connection with them! After meeting Tim and instantly liking him too, we started snapping away. They had told us that they didn’t like getting their pictures taken. This was a red flag for us. That phrase typically means that the subjects will look uncomfortable and we have to work ten times as hard to be fun and calming for the sake of the images. If they were uncomfortable however, we would have never known. Their whole session was adorable and we couldn’t wait for their wedding day!

Fast forward only a few days, and it was time for their big day. We first met up with Laura Beth and her three bridesmaids at her parents home in Northern Kentucky. We were welcomed by everyone including her family, and entered to a retro jazz soundtrack that was so different than what we typically enter to. Usually it’s country or rap. To each their own obviously, but there was just something so peaceful about the home and the music only amplified that feeling. It was then that we thought, “Today is going to rule!”

Laura Beth looked fabulous. Her bridesmaids were also quite beautiful, but Laura Beth commanded the room with her classic beauty and gown. Tammi fell in love with it instantly. We spent about an hour with her and her girls inside and outside of her home including the ever famous “white room”. Laura Beth wanted to be sure that the pictures looked like they were taken at her home. So we made sure to leave all the trinkets, furniture, and books in place. We even framed up one of Rudy’s favorite wedding pictures ever using these beautiful and very full bookshelves in the “white room”.

We jetted off to meet the boys at the Cathedral Basilica in Covington, KY. Tim greeted us kindly, but we could kind of tell that he was just a touch on edge. But the guys’ photos went just as smoothly as the girls. Finally it was ceremony time!

The cathedral is just beautiful. Top that off with their Latin mass featuring the singing of a choir in Latin, the solemness of the whole ceremony, and you suddenly get one of our favorite ceremonies ever. But before you knew it, it was time for some photos of the newlyweds. We went into the garden there at the cathedral for all of their photos. We just love their pictures. There is just a genuine love that shines through their photos that can’t be directed. :)

Their reception at The Gardens in Park Hills was simple and sweet. A perfect fit for their day. Great speeches by Tim’s best man and Laura Beth’s sister were highlights of the evening for sure. Their first dance was somewhere between slow and fast, but was definitely very playful and filled with joy. When it came time for the father daughter dance, Laura Beth’s father only danced with her a for half of the song. As a surprise to Tim, he waved Tim over, and gave his daughter away one last time for the rest of that song. It was very moving and touching. We just absolutely loved their wedding day! We got a small repeat of it the very next day as during Rachael & Ryan’s wedding day break at the Hofbrauhaus, Laura Beth & Tim’s parents also showed up at the Hofbrauhaus!

Congratulation Laura Beth & Tim!

Burnet Woods Engagement Photos | Gabrielle & Jeff

Burnet Woods Engagement Photos

Oh my, how times have changed! It seems like it was just a few years ago that we were taking Gabrielle’s senior pictures. Now it came time for her engagement photos with her fiancé Jeff. When did we get so old?! :) In all seriousness, we are so happy that we have been able to be a part of not only Gabrielle’s family’s lives over the years, but especially Gabrielle. We have watched her grow from a goofy kid, to a beautiful teen, to a fantastic mother, and we can’t wait to bring her into her newest life chapter, a wonderful wife.

We met up with Gabrielle & Jeff in Burnet Woods in Cincinnati near the University of Cincinnati’s campus. We met them at the bandstand which will play host to their wedding come August. It was great to see where they would get married and we even helped plan where everyone would stand based off of the position of the sun. We used a nerdy app that we use all the time. (cue nerdy snort and a push up of our nerd glasses.)

Gabrielle was a bit hesitant to cuddle with Jeff in front of us for their pictures. With good reason! We have literally watched her grow up. It was like her brother & sister telling her to kiss Jeff while we snapped pictures. Totally understandable. But they worked through the awkwardness of that and did a good job being all cute. It helps that they are both wildly attractive with shockingly beautiful eyes. After only a short time with them we were all finished and got a great idea of where to take pictures on their wedding day. We can’t wait to celebrate with them and their families! :)

Peterloon Estate Wedding | Shelby & David {5.16.15}

Peterloon Estate Wedding

It’s hard to imagine a better day than Shelby & David’s wedding day. Well, okay, our wedding was better. 😉 But not by much! Sure, it rained for a lot of Shelby & David’s wedding day, but we wouldn’t change a thing at all. The Peterloon Estate made for the perfect wedding location, only overshadowed by Shelby & David, their bridal party, and their guests.

We first met up with Shelby & all of her bridesmaids, as well as her mother and David’s mother, at ALBA Beauty Studios in Hyde Park, OH. The girls at ALBA did a fantastic job as usual. We arrived and greeted Shelby upstairs in the bridal suite. As soon as she saw us she screamed and said, “Thank you!” We hadn’t even done anything yet and she was already sweet. But that’s not surprising if you have ever met Shelby. She’s the sweetest! Shelby is also a photographer herself so she knew the kind of expressions and positions that would look good throughout the whole day, including her getting ready photos. This day was poised for success right out of the gate! While getting ready, Shelby was surprised by flowers and a new notebook that would be their wedding/marriage notebook. Over the 3 years they had been dating, Shelby & David kept a dating notebook that they would write letters in and mail to each other while dating long distance.

Once all the girls were ready and after a few quick pictures of Shelby inside of the bridal suite, it was time to head to the Peterloon Estate. Then came the rain. Generally speaking, rain isn’t ideal on a wedding day. But with a mansion as pretty as the Peterloon, it was no problem at all. First we set up for Shelby & David’s private first look session. We got in place and started to get our cameras ready. Shelby seeing her groom darted out very fast before we were ready. We screamed, “SHELBY! NO, WAIT!” Turns out she just wanted to tease both us and David. She waited there for a second for us to get ready, then grabbed David’s shoulder and then magic happened. But they didn’t kiss! They, at that point in time, had never kissed each other. That’s right! So just imagine how hard it was at that moment NOT to kiss. We felt for them both.

We spent the next couple of hours shooting all sorts of beautiful pictures of them as well as their bridal party. Shelby knows first hand that it takes time to make the most of the pictures, so she allotted plenty of time for us to create some beautiful images. Time flies when you are having fun though, because it was quickly time for the ceremony. Their ceremony was just wonderful. Every last moment was special but a few moments stood out specifically. Once it was time for the hand written vows, their officiant, having forgot to get them out of his backpack and amidst a very serious moment and with a solemn tone said, “Now, if someone could please get the vows out of my backpack from under the piano…” The crowd erupted in laughter and so did Shelby & David. Their vows themselves were very sweet and having heard David’s first, Shelby upon his completion exclaimed, “How can I compete with that?!” To which David replied, “It’s not a competition.” Finally the big moment arrived, the first kiss. Everyone in the crowd knew it was their actual first kiss, so when the officiant said, “I know pronounce you man and wife. David…?” They knew an epic first kiss was coming, and it did! Three years of waiting for that moment paid off in a wonderful way. They were pronounced, and they sprinted out of the ceremony site! All of their bridal party and family followed them to give them hugs and congratulated them.

The rain had finally stopped so we took some time and privately snuck off and shot a few more photos of just the two of them, including some photos using an old Hasselblad camera as a prop. Shelby was very excited about this concept and so were we!

Finally it was time to party, and party these two did. Once the dance floor opened, they owned it. David’s father also owned it for a song or two, but the tenacious dancing Shelby & David let loose was unparalleld! They left the reception to an energetic sparkler exit, and off they went to their honeymoon.

We get asked a lot if we have favorite weddings that we have done. Truthfully, it’s really hard to pick out our favorite weddings we have been a part of. But there was something extra special about this one. If for no other reason than how much we love the bride & groom. Yep, definitely one of our favorite weddings and two of our most favorite people. Can we be friends guys? :)

Cincinnati Wedding Photography | Leah & Andrew {5.9.15}

_88B2370-Edit.jpg

Leah & Andrew are a little different than most of our other couples. Sure, every one of our couples are unique, but these two have a certain uniqueness to them. They both are pretty calm and collected. It doesn’t seem like much can frazzle them. Which is a great personality trait in general, but especially on your wedding day!

We first met up with Leah & Andrew in their respective getting ready locations; their parent’s homes. Tammi with Leah, and Rudy with Andrew. In both locations, everything was rather calm and collected, just like Leah & Andrew. Once the tour bus, yes tour bus not party bus, arrived to get the boys, they all drank a single shot, then headed for the girls.

We planned on having their “first look” at Mount Echo Park on the west side of Cincinnati. But this caused a little bit of a logistical issue. How could they both ride on the bus without seeing each other? We thought of a crazy idea a while back for another couple and pitched it to them…blindfold the groom! Leah loved the idea during their final consult. Andrew most likely didn’t like it as much, as he would be in sheer torture for a long bus ride to the park. Although we did take a photo of this blindfold scenario on the bus, Andrew and his boys were safely tucked away in the back room of the bus behind a closed door!

We arrived at the park and all of the bridal party and their parents gathered around for the first look. Leah, realizing that nearly 20 people were about to witness a pretty intimate moment, was concerned. We asked, “Want us to kick everyone out?” She replied, “Everyone but our parents.” We were happy to be the bad guy and tell everyone to go away. We look out for our couples’ wants and needs as best as we can. After their simple, cute, and semi-private first look, it was time for the remainder of the photos at the park before heading to the church.

After arriving at the church and taking a few photos out in front of its beautiful facade, it was time for these two to tie the knot. Their traditional catholic ceremony at St. William’s Church went off without any issues. Well, except for a small moment where the unity candle wouldn’t light for Leah & Andrew. We did capture quite the funny face that Leah gave during that moment, but we wouldn’t post that here! We could because Leah would probably think it’s hilarious, but we won’t. 😉

The reception, held at Receptions in Erlanger and entertained by Party Pleasers, was fun right from the beginning. Oh! We forgot to mention that the bridal party had the bus driver go on a beer run in the bus. Not the easiest of feats with a HUGE bus on the west side of Cincinnati, but that driver handled it like a champ! Anyway, when the bridal party entered the reception, each couple did some of the best entrances we have ever seen. But none surpassed Leah’s maid of honor and sister’s entrance. After a little dance with the best man, she did a rather perfect toe touch that we somehow managed to capture right at the perfect moment.

It was a fun easy day with an easy going couple and a lot of really fun bridal party members. We are so thankful that we were able to be a part of Leah & Andrew’s big day and hope to see them again very soon!

Cincinnati French Park Wedding | Katie & CJ {5.25.15}

Washington Park Engagement Photos

For us, if it rains on a wedding day, it’s no big deal. What is big deal though is if a couple is flustered and mad about the rain. So going in to Katie & CJ’s wedding day, we were a little nervous. Will they be upset or more laid back? It’s the attitude of the couple in a circumstance like this that will yield a good or bad day, not the weather. We arrived to Katie’s parents house for the girls’ getting ready photos to find a tow truck outside taking away a bridesmaid’s car. So we were even more nervous. We entered the home to find Katie nearly finished getting ready and all smiles! She was so happy to see us, and we were SO happy to see her. Especially to see her with such a positive attitude! The day only got better from there. The weather, no, it didn’t get better for the most part. But Katie & CJ’s beautiful French Park wedding was just wonderful!

After a few photos of Katie and her girls getting ready, we headed off to St. Columban Church in Loveland, OH via what is now our most often seen limo service and driver; John from Xtreme Limo. We love John. He’s awesome. Anyway, the service at St. Columban was beautiful. Just before seeing his bride for the first time, CJ gave a quick wave to Rudy. But when Katie appeared down the long aisle to CJ, CJ smiled bigger than we have ever seen him smile. The ceremony was flawless, and just like that it was time for all the pictures. After the photos of the family inside of the church, it was time to leave and head to the French House in French Park. The rain was really coming down on the way to the park, but again, Katie & CJ were completely happy.

The photos went smoothly besides the torrential downpours that were outside of our covered patio. Luckily the house itself is beautiful and has a large canopy over the back patio. So we knew that we could get plenty of good shots of everyone. The rain did stop though on two different occasions allowing us to shoot a few pictures of just Katie & CJ amongst the park’s grounds. But we stuck to pavement as the ground was completely saturated. But still, even though the weather didn’t cooperate, Katie & CJ were happy. This is a huge lesson to all of our couples. Take Katie & CJ’s approach. You can either let the weather dictate the success and joy of your wedding or you can enjoy your wedding day no matter what the weather is!

The reception was decorated perfectly for a park wedding. Candidly, our own wedding wasn’t necessarily decorated to fit our given venue. It was pretty, yes, but didn’t exactly match the surrounding settings. But Katie & CJ worked tirelessly with others to make their reception simply perfect! Beyond the weather, decor, and the party atmosphere of the reception we want to brag on Katie & CJ for just a moment. So please excuse these sappy but sincere sentences to follow. :) Katie is just such a kind & polite person. CJ has a quirky but awesome sense of humor and has something about him that you just feel comfortable being around him. Together, they combine to be a wonderful couple that we are so happy to know and hope to see again very soon! Congratulations Katie & CJ!

Washington Park Engagement Photos | Morgan & Jordan

Washington Park Engagement Photos

Something we have to cope with is that our couples will mostly always forever now be younger than us. Or at least, we will get older, while new couples that book us will mostly be the same age. This fact is a little weird to us, but when a couple is as nice and cute as Morgan & Jordan, we don’t mind so much. But what was weird is when we found out that they graduated high school the year we got married. Sigh….

Their engagement session was actually the first time we had ever met. This is something we no longer do as we have found that meeting before booking us leads to the most comfortable relationship between our couples and us. So you can imagine we were a little nervous, as we are sure they were too. But thankfully, they weren’t weirdos or crazy! Too bad they couldn’t say the same about us. 😉 But in all seriousness, we felt a connection right away!

They traveled quite the distance to meet us at Washington Park. So we made good use of their time, not trying to be annoying with too many photos, but making sure we got lots of cute pictures of them. Which wasn’t hard at all! Like Tammi, Morgan isn’t a fan of being the center of attention. So we did our best to make sure that there weren’t audiences watching them as we told them to hug, cuddle, and kiss. That can be a bit awkward for anyone!

But after a little while, we got plenty of cute photos of these two. Being as their wedding is in June, we took some time after the session to meet and discuss their timeline and such. It got us excited and anxious for what will be a wonderful day with these two cute kids.

It’s always a little unnerving when the forecast calls for rain a few days before a wedding day. We like to tell our couples not to look at the weather too often until about 24-48 hours before. The 90% of rain you see 5 days before might be for the overnight hours and that number will just lead to an unsettling amount of stress on top of the massive amounts of stress that comes along with a wedding. Such was the case with Maria & Chris. On Monday last week the day seemed to be doomed with lots of rain. But as the week progressed, the weather here in Cincinnati cleared up and became a perfect day for a wedding!

We first met up with Maria and her girls at ALBA Beauty Studios in Hyde Park. We love ALBA. Not only do we personally get our hair done there, but it’s the only salon we recommend. They do great work! Our good friend and past bride Sasha was responsible for Maria’s hair and just like Sasha always does, she knocked it out of the park! We walked up to the bridal suite to find all of Maria’s bridesmaids as well as her flower girl, mother, and sister Theresa waiting her arrival! “AWWW!!!” was the general consensus when she walked in the room. But then she was told to leave again so they could get her coming in on their iPhones. It was quite cute. Once Maria was all dressed, we kicked everyone out and took advantage of the beautiful window light in the bridal suite at ALBA. But before long it was off to Maria & Chris’ house for their first look, which proved adorable.

We lined Chris up outside of their front door, Maria came out, tapped him on the shoulder, and Chris couldn’t do anything but bring his hand to his mouth in shock of how beautiful Maria was! Again, the consensus from crowd of family members and the bridal party was, “AWWW!!!”

Off we went to Spring Grove Cemetery for their photos. We know what a lot of you are thinking, “A cemetery?!” If you have ever been there you would know that it’s actually a beautiful tranquil place and is perfect for photos! In just about 90 minutes we were able to capture some beautiful photos of these two and all their friends.

Their ceremony at St. Bonafice in Cincinnati went perfectly. Father Pete, their officiant, may just be our favorite priest now, by the way. Just wanted you all to know that. But just like that, the ceremony was finished and it was time for a few last “golden hour” photos of the new Mr. & Mrs. Homer in the church’s courtyard.

Finally it was reception time. Off we darted to The Madison in Covington, KY for the main event which was masterfully orchestrated by none other than Maize Music. Nemar Maize is the best DJ in Cincinnati. No really, he really is. His skills on the mic and turntables can’t be beat, in our opinion. So the entire night had a full dance floor and an incredible vibe. Maria & Chris wanted a party, and Nemar delivered.

We want to say thank you and congratulations to Maria & Chris! We couldn’t have asked for a better day with you and your loved ones, and we hope you are having tons of fun in St. Lucia!
